which includes how to find an agent, news about agents, top agent addresses,

writing and publishing. For example, the "Business" category, which
is organized by subject, has over 300 links related to Agents, Contests, Copyrights,
Grants, Legal & Taxes, Marketing, Book Publishers, E-Publishing, Self-Publishing,
Sales, Scams, and Submissions. The "Networking and Connections" category
includes a link to our Berkeley Website. An invaluable site to bookmark.

and specialized dictionaries and thesauruses, as well as an antonym finder,
daily cross-word puzzle, language translator and other writing resources that

Finder lists acronyms for the letters you enter. When there are multiple
definitions, the most common definition is listed first and the most esoteric

Searches can be done by book title, author, or keyword. An "advanced search
option" lets you search by publisher, bookstore, country, binding, attributers,
and price range. Abebooks.com's search engine links to over 9,000 independent
dealers around the world who sell hard-to-find books. Books that are found can
be purchased on Abebooks.com's encrypted secure Web page.

Magazine, a new literary magazine in the Bay Area that publishes
twice annually, is seeking submissions of short stories, essays, and poems.
The short stories and essays should be 3,000 words or less. Poems should be
under 100 lines. The magazine is also sponsoring a writing contest (entry fee
of $5 for one short story or three poems) with 1st prize of $75 and publication,
2nd prize of $50 and publication. Deadlines are April 15 and August 15. Subscriptions

Enterprises is accepting submissions for Volume 7of In Our Own
Words: A Generation Defining Itself. This book series is a platform from which
a generation (born 1960 to 1982) is speaking out about its realities, dispelling
the narrow, simplified stereotypes created by the mass media and commercial
